Referral process:
Hello, members of Berkshire Fallon Health Collaborative. You are absolutely more than welcome to receive acupuncture in our practice even if we are out of network with your insurance company.
There are just a few steps that must be in place prior to your first appointment. Please review the steps below. Should you have any additional questions, please contact our office and we will be happy to assist you.

Obtain a referral from your PCP to receive acupuncture

The referral must be sent directly to Berkshire Fallon Health Collaborative

Once our office receives the approval from Berkshire Fallon Health Collaborative, you will receive a call to schedule your first appointment.

Please contact the office if your PCP does not have the fax number for Berkshire Fallon Health Collaborative.
Health Insurance & Acupuncture Benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include acupuncture benefits?
It is important to note that although you may see your health insurance company listed above, acupuncture benefits may not be included within your specific plan. Please verify your coverage below.
What if I have medicare?
Unfortunately, Medicare will only cover acupuncture treatments performed by a Medical Doctor. Feel free to contact Medicare for a list of providers.
You are more than welcome to book an appointment but you will need to pay out of pocket for your services.
Are there insurance companies that do not include acupuncture benefits?
Yes, unfortunately, Group Insurance Commission (GIC) is a company that DOES NOT offer acupuncture.
